VIN and OEM numbers: two different things | PARTSinn

A VIN identifies a vehicle; an OEM number identifies a part. They are not the same. Enter the OEM code, not the vehicle VIN, in the parts search. If you do not know the OEM number, check it in an appropriate VIN catalog or with a specialist. This BYD catalog contains no model, year or engine compatibility list. You can enter your code with or without hyphens in PARTSinn search. The search normalizes them and returns the same catalog number. A similar description or appearance does not confirm fitment. Check the exact number before ordering and contact PARTSinn if you have questions.
